Help to Audacity

1) To start working we have to adjust the following parameters:

  • Open a new file and save it with a title name

2) Go to archive menu, open preferences, you will find different folders:

  • E/S audio, elect what is incorporated to your 1 MONO. Tick the last section.
  • Quality. Let it be as it is by default less than the frequency It must be at 22.050 Hz
  • File format, select wav ( Microsoft 8 bits PCM). The rest, let it by default.


3) On the toolbar you will find:

  • Recording and playing controls
  • To Mixer, where you can select the inputs for microphone or Cd
  • Editing tools such as select, asjust, move, cut, view. You will see each tool utility just pointing it with your mouse.

4) To work on Multitracks you only have to record again. It is very important to give a name to each track. When you switch on the red button, you will be able to see the wave of what you are recording

5) For Each track you want to add, you can select it and open the effects menu. You will be able to practice and discover sound effects

6) Remember to export your work to a Wave and Mp3 file format.

7) You can imnport any music from your harddrive and make a mixing worksong (middley) at your own taste
