1. Observe plants in the classroom and local environment. Elicit through discussion and observation that flowering plants have roots, stem and leaves and produce flowers and seeds. Use a PowerPoint presentation, posters, classroom display and reference books to assist pupils with naming flowering and non-flowering plants. 2. Tell pupils that they are going to watch a PowerPoint presentation about plants. 2. Pupils do worksheet 8, in which they - Fill in the gaps. - Make a simple labelled diagram of a plant, showing the different parts.
