Raymond Ang used to take his son to Haw Par Villa
1. to teach him about right and wrong ways of living.
2. to show him that you could get rich if you invented something new.
3. to entertain him at weekends.
Raymond wanted his son
1. to set up his own business.
2. to run the family restaurants.
3. to go to university and have an education.
When his father died,
1. his body was buried with some of his most precious possessions.
2. everybody brought something to burn on the funeral fire.
3. he went back to Singapore to organise the funeral.
After his father's funeral
1. he went back to Australia immediately.
2. he sold his father's restaurants.
3. he moved back to Singapore with his family.
When he took his son to Haw Par Villa
1. his son was as frightened as he had been as a child.
2. one the little painted men looked like his father.
3. he saw that the place had not change much.
