- Some CDs about the songs of the most popular Scottish dances like: | |||||||||||||||||||||
Let's Ceilidh. Traditional Dance in Schools Project. Kilmarnock Folk Club. The Tattiehowkers Ceilidh Band. In this CD we can find the songs of 18 popular Ceilidhs and among them the 6 dances included in this unit. This is the only CD (that I have been able to find) which includes the six dances taught. Most CD, like the following ones, include the songs of 18-19 popular Ceilidhs. However, they don't include the 6 Ceilidhs developed in this unit. Just some of them are included in each CD. Therefore, it is easy to find The Gay Gordons, The Canadian Barn Dance, The Dashing White Sergeant and Strip the Willow, but it is more difficult to get The Virginia Reel and the Cumberland Square Eight. Big Scottish Party. (1999) Lismor Recordings. The Riverside Ceilidh Band. (1994) Lismor Recordings.
