SPEAKING FOR SUCCESS

1.ORGANICE YOUR SPEECH

1.Get Your Facts Together

You'll need to do some research to know WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.

Use the library or the Internet to do research.

Decide what you want to say and write it down.

2.Convince with clarity

A good way of convincing someone is the classic structure "Problem-Solution" and also "Cause-Consequence"

In the first part of your speech you say, "Here's a problem, here's why things are so terrible."

Then, in the second part of your speech you say, "Here's what we can do to make things better.

3.Simplify

After you've written a first draft of your speech, check it for clarity. Remember the point is to make it very clear.

TIP:" It helps a lot to persuade people if you have a visual aid: a poster with pictures, graphics, timelines, diagrams etc. while you are delivering your speech"
