2.PREPARE YOUR SPEECH

Speeches usually have 3 parts:
 

1. Introduction:
 

Say your name
Explain what you are going to talk about
Explain why the topic is important

2. Core:
 

Explain the main ideas of your speech
 

If you want to convince or persuade your audience, explain the causes and consequences of the problem or topic you are talking about.

Eg:"It is important to use natural energies because if we go on using oil (cause), we will pollute so much that the temperature of the planet will continue to rise and this will cause very serious problems, like draught, floods and famine (consequences)"

3. Conclusion:
 

Solutions to the problems you explained

Eg: "So, if we want to stop global warming , we should use the car less. We have to ride our bicycles or walk. It is essential to recycle. We must use natural resources carefully..."

Explain to the audience why your point is important

Eg: " It is important to do all these things because if we don't, we will destroy the environment and the natural resources and our lives and health will be endangered"
 

Thank your audience

Eg: "Thank you for your attention"
