Iemen
Quan estem cansats de pedres podrem gaudir de dos mars: el mar Roig i el mar d'Aràbia;
i fortaleses.
pàl·lid tirant a groc.

Bombai
races i religions.
país tot just comença.

Iemen
It's situated in the South West of Arabia. Its coast is bathed for the Bab el Mandab
Strait (tears door)
The political capital is Sanaa, but the economic capital is Aden.
If you are a tourist it's necessary to walk along the Mareb old city, to see the Sun
Temple ruins or the Bilquis throne (the Saba kingdom).
When the ruins make you tired you could enjoy two seas: the Arabian Sea and the Red
Sea. You can fish and dive.
When you are in Aden you can do like Passapertot and go into old castles and
fortress.
Aden is situated in a volcanic area. Outskirts there are 18 tanks digged in the rocks.
They are digged 20 centuries ago and the can keep 45 millions litres of water.
Tired to walk it's time to take a coffee. The mocka coffee of course.
Remember than Passapertot, from Mongolia, has seen a city similar than a cup of coffee.
It's Mocka. In 1600 this city was the most important coffee center. They sent coffee
all around the world. The coffee was fashion in Europe and they opened coffee shops.
When they planted coffee in Sri Lanka and Indonesian, Mocka felt in crisis.
The appearance of the bean is unique, irregular beans and a peculiar pale green to
yellow colour, yielding a distinct flavor. The Yemen Mocha has tremendous character. It
can be described as winey, spicy, nutty, malty and fruity. Its uniquely acid cup makes
this coffee smooth and piquant. It possesses heavy body. This coffee yields one of the
most superbly aromatic and uniquely flavorful cups in the world.
Bombai
The West Indian door. In Mumbai lives 9.000.000 inhabitants. It's a city full of
contrasts: it lives together comercial richness and absolute poverty.
You can see english colonial buildings:Victoria Station, Indian Door; zoroastrïan
ruins and digged temples in caves in Elephant island.
But the contrasts are also in languages (179 with 500 dialects and 10 alphabets), races
and religions.
Impressed for colour, light, smell and people we will start our walk.
We will cross the Indian door. We will go into Ghandi's home (we can feel the Mahatma
spirit).
Later we will go to the Malabar Hill Gardens where we will see the Silent Parsis.
Perhaps we won't understand but we must open our mind to a new culture. The trip only
starts.
