We are in Paris, we are already at la Gare du Nord, we leave the train in a very long platform. We are very tired to walk but Paris waits us.
It's a little cloudy and windy. The hotel it's very close to the station, we have to hurry we don't have much time to spare.
First of all we visit the Eiffel Tower, we go up to the big monument, and we see the panoramic views. Paris at our view.
Then we went to have dinner, we go to Maxim's, the most luxurious and famous restaurant in Paris. the Maître tell us to sit in a very nice table.
Uf! The prices are very expensive, we ask the meal and the "garcon" give us to start a dish with all kind of French cheeses and a good glass of French wine. The maître recommends us what to eat and he tells a very good suggestions to eat.
The dinner has been delicious, when we leave the restaurant we eat creppes suzzetes for desert in a Crepperie, a very typical sweet of France.
Then we get a taxi and we go directly to the Seine, we get Bateau Mouche.
Later we take a look to the Louvre. It's night, the moon shines over the Pyramid at the Louvre square.
At the way back to the hotel the taxi drives us trough the Champs Elisées.
Next morning, early, we will go to Venice by train: The Orient Express.

Hem marxat de París amb l'Orient Express i anem directament a Venècia. Ens allotjarem a Luna Baglioni. Ui el tren ja s'atura! Un matalot m'agafa les maletes i un home molt amable ens porta fins a l'hotel on estarem, i ens i porta en gòndola!
Ja estem a l'hotel, que per cert és el més antic de tota la ciutat.
Endrecem una mica.
Sortim a passejar, és el capvespre, el sol comença a amagar-se per darrera les aigües del Gran Canal. Comença a envoltar-nos la boira, l'ambient és cada vegada més misteriós. Caminem lentament pels carrerons, sembla un laberint.
L'estómac ens comença a demanar el sopar, i entrem a una Trattoria, com és de suposar demanem pizza i pasta (a la carbonara, a la bolonyesa, al pesto, als quatre formatges, i salses al seu gust).
Sortim i arribem a la plaça de St. Marc, sona la música de les petites orquestres de les cafeteries ens sembla viure un somni.
Llàstima que aviat haurem de marxar hem d'afanyar-nos a tot arreu i ens de conformar només amb prendre vistes de les ciutats.
Ja tornarem.

We left Paris with the Orient Express, and we go straight to Venice. We will stay at Luna Baglioni. Oops! The train stops! A boy gets my bags and a very kind man gives us a ride to the hotel. We go there by gondola!
We are ready at the hotel, is the oldest hotel in the city, we have unpacked the bags already.
We go for a walk. It's evening, the sun starts to go down at the back of the great channel. The fog fells to the ground, the temperature drops and a mysterious ambience evolves our selves. We walk patiently around the narrow streets, it's like a labyrinth.
We start to get hungry, we see a Trattoria, there we get a pizza and pasta with all kind of sauces they have.
Then we go to Sant Marcos square, the music sounds at the cafeterias it's like a dream.
We sorry because we have to leave fast and we just can see the city with an overview.

Ens dirigim a l'aeroport de Venècia. Anem tard, agafem el vol d'Alitalia amb direcció a Nàpols.
Tots hem sentit a parlar de Nàpols, prop d'allà hi ha el Vesubi (volcà), No hi podem anar, no tenim temps.
A Nàpols agafem el Pendolino, un modern tren de la Ferrovia dello Stato, que ens portarà a Bríndisi.
Bríndisi és una bonica ciutat al sud de Itàlia amb un important port que comunica amb els principals ports asiàtics. Passegem una mica pels seus carrers i sentim el regust especial de totes les ciutats italianes. Un aire entre nou i vell, entre antic i modern. Com sempre i com ens està passant des que hem sortit de Londres ens queden ganes de tornar, hem d'anar tan ràpid que semblem turistes japonesos.

We go to the Venice airport. We go late, we catch the Alitalia plane to Napoli.
We know that near here there is a volcano: the Vesubio. We can't visit it. We haven't got time.
In Napoli we catch the Pendolino, a modern tren. It takes us to Bríndisi.
Bríndisi it's a nice city. It's situated in South Italy. It's a very important place because it has a big port.
We walk and we can feel a special aroma that have all the italian cities: old and new, modern and antique.
Another time we want to come back. We must go quickly like the japanese tourists.

Acabem d'arribar a Egipte! Quin sol que fa! Només de baixar del vaixell se'ns comencen a acostar tot d'Àrabs que ens volen vendre tot de productes.
- Bonito, barato, 500, solo 500...
Hem agafat un camell i hem anat cap a l'hotel. El "viatge" cap a l'hotel se'ns ha fet llarguíssim; amb aquesta calor i aquesta set que tenim ens voldríem tirar a una piscina d'aigua congelada. No es pot aguantar!
Arribem a l'hotel. Què luxós! Hi ha piscina. Ens hi volem tirar de cap! Però primer hem de dinar.
Hi ha buffet lliure, sobre la taula safates amb: foul (faves amb oli d'oliva), dolma (llegums amb arròs i carn), kabah (carn de xai rostida) kofta (pilotilles de xai a la brasa). Sobre la taula hi ha unes gerres amb karkadé, suc de la flor de la majagua i té de menta.
Tots hem escollit la dolma, és que fa més bona cara. Els més golafres agafen, també, la kofta i acaben plenissíms. Com que després de dinar és l'hora de més calor, marxem a la piscina.
Ens refresquem i ens toca visitar la piràmide de Keops. Abans d'entrar ens expliquen que és la més gran. Quan finalment ens van acabar d'explicar tot aquell rotllo que casi ningú va escoltar, perquè tothom estava ansiós per entrar a la piràmide, ens van deixar passar.
Fa una calor horrible, passadissos estrets, no hi ha qui ho pugui aguantar!
A la sala de la tomba ens tornen a fer el gran discurs; que si allà dintre hi havia el faraó, que si per fer la piràmide s'havien necessitat 6.000.000 de tones de pedres...
Al centre de la sala hi havia la tomba del faraó i plantada a la paret, hi havia una foto seva. També hi havia una palanca plana plena de punxes, i per obrir-la es feia servir un estri rodó de ferro que s'havia d'anar girant cap a un costat i cap a l'altra per tal d'obrir una porta on hi havia tots els tresors.
Acabada la visita tornem a l'hotel. Descansem i marxem a donar una volta per les parades del centre de la ciutat. Com al principi, ens tornaven a envoltar els venedors.
Anem cap al "Bazar" hi ha botigues petites per tot arreu, és ven de tot.
Aquí hem pogut estar-hi una mica més de temps però ara ja hem de marxar cap a Suez.
Agafem els estris, com sempre hem de córrer.
Suez, és una ciutat situada entre dos mars i amb un important port per on passava gran part del comerç entre Europa i Àsia.
Aquí ens espera un en vaixell. Desprès... ja ho veurem.

We arrive to Egypt. What sun! A lot of people come near us. They want to sell us all the things.
- Nice, cheap, ...
We go by camel to the hotel. We feel the way very long because it's very hot. We dream with a swimming pool full of cold water. It's horrible!
Now we are in the hotel. It's luxurios. There is a big swimming pool, we wish to dive in it but first we go to have lunch.
In the dinning-room there`s a long table with typical food: foul, dolma, kebah, kofta. On our table there's special drink: karkadé.
We choose dolma, it looks nice, better than the others. Someone of us eat kofta too.
After lunch we go to the swimming pool. Now we are ready to go to the Keops pyramid.
A guide tell us a lot of things about these monuments. We don't listen, we want to go inside.
Inside it's terribly hot, narrow. UFF!
When we finish the visit we come back to the hotel. We rest and later we go to the "Bazar".
In the "Bazar" there are a lot of small shops.
We have stayed more time here, but we leave this place to Suez.
Suez it's a city situated between two seas with a very important port. There a ship is waiting us. Then ... we will see.
