Singapur és un lloc de pas entre l'Índia i el Japó. No hi estarem gaire.
Només desembarcar ens trobem en una ciutat que ens sembla molt moderna i occidental.
És l'estat més densament poblat del món; com que es petit tot està molt atapeït.
Els edificis són tots molt alts.

Caminant per les avingudes veiem que tot està molt net i ens sorprèn. Aviat veiem
un cartell en xinès i li preguntem a un senyor que passava per allà que ens ho
tradueixi. El rètol posa que qualsevol persona que tiri algun paper, deixalla o xiclet
al terra serà fortament multat, podent anar fins i tot a la presó.
Mentre anem cap al Jardí Botànic (que també és dels més important del món) coincidim
amb una celebració de la comunitat xinesa. Com és de suposar, hi ha dracs.
S'apropa l'hora d'agafar l'avió. Sembla mentida, però ja estem a la meitat del
viatge.

Singapore is a place between India and Japan. We don't spare a lot of
time there.
Just to get off of the plane we realise that is a very modern city.
It is the place with more density of population in the world, it's very small and
crowded. The buildings are very high.
Walking trough the avenues we can see that it's a very clean city. We see a sign in
Chinese, and we ask a man what it means, he tells us that it says that who troughs
any paper in the ground will be punished hardly, even you can go the jail!.
Going to the botanical gardens ( one of the most important in the world),we coincide
with a Chinese party with dragons included.
We are close to get the plane, it's amazing we are at half of the trip.
Hem arribat a Hong Kong a l'aeroport de Norman Foster. És molt modern i avançat
tecnològicament.
Com que no podem anar tot el dia amb les maletes al damunt, les deixem a la consigna.
Quin lío! Les instruccions estan en xinès (sort de la lletra petita en anglès)!
La maleta és tan grossa que no ens hi cap i a més sona l'alarma. Portem tisores.
Ve el guàrdia i ens escorcolla la maleta. Com que veu que no hi ha res important ens
deixa passar i ens guarda la maleta al seu despatx. Fem cara de bons nois.
Quan sortim de l'aeroport, en tren, anem al centre.
Uf!, quantes botigues i gratacels, sembla la ciutat del 2050.
Seguim les instruccions d'una guia i pugem en el funicular de "Peak Tram" fins a
"The Peak" des d'on es veu la magnífica ciutat. Continuem fins al Pic Victòria i
des d'allà podem veure la badia.
Sorprèn que al costat de grans gratacels pugui haver-hi un barri de pescadors i les
cases flotants d'Aberdeen.
Ens adonem que aquesta ciutat sembla molt rica, però també hi deu haver bastanta
pobresa.

We are already in Hong Kong, at the Norman Foster airport. It's a very modern
building.
We leave all the bags at the luggage office, because we don't want to carry them
all day long.
What a mess, all the instructions are in Chinese ( we are lucky there is a small
explanation in English)!
We go through customs we get stopped because we carry scissors. A police registers
all of our customs. When he understands that we don't carry nothing dangerous he let
us continue.
When we leave the airport, we go to the downtown by train.
Uf! There are a lot of shops and skyscrapers, it looks like a city of the next
millennium.
We follow the instructions of the guide and we get on the Peak Tram that is going
to bring us to The Peak, from there we can see good views of the city. We continue
until the Victoria's Peak and from there we can see the bay.
What it surprise more is that you can see a big skyscrapers and just beside a
fisherman neighbourhood like the floating houses of Aberdeen.
We assume that it looks like a very rich city but probably there are poor people, too.
