Meeting in Portugal

A JOURNEY TO PORTUGAL

Students: Paula Hernández, Alba Cantisano, Josep Giberga, Laura Randino and Carlos Delgado.

Teachers: Marta Rius and Miquel Abancó.

The first day we arrived at the airport of Porto , where the Portuguese people were waiting for us. We had lunch in a Pizzeria in a commercial centre and then we went back to the airport, where the Italians and Turks were waiting too. Later, we went to a train station where there were the Rumanians and their teachers.

The second day, we arrived at Dr. Flávio F.P. Resende's school of Cinfães where they welcome us with a Portuguese song. Then we did our school presentation and we had lunch there. After lunching, we went to the village and visited Cinfães. At night, they prepared a special dinner and we had it in the school. They made Portuguese dances and they gave us a Comenius Project certificate.

The third day, we went to the school again and, after having lunch in the “ Vocational school of Cinfães ”, we went to the Teixeiro mountain, where we could see an amazing landscape. Afterwards we went to the Town Hall and visited a museum. In the afternoon we visited the Duero River closely. At night we had dinner with other students in a Pizzeria.

The fourth day, we visited Guimar ã es town, a castle and a church. Later, we had lunch in a teacher's house and went to Geres, a village near Spain . That night we went with the students to the village again.

The fifth day, we visited the Biological Park of Gaia. There, we had lunch. We went to Porto and there we visited the Trade House and the Duero River again. Finally, we returned to Cinfães.

The sixth day we said goodbye to the Turks, the Italians and the Rumanians, and we spent the day with the teachers in Porto city. In the afternoon we took the train that took us back to the village. There, Nuno came to take us to our host houses. At night, we went to a disco and we danced a lot.

Finally,on the seventh day, we said goodbye to the Portuguese and, after going to Porto 's airport, we took the plane at 12:40 . We arrived in Barcelona at 15:00 more or less.
