Nowadays the concept of family has changed in relation to Victorian family. Because in Victorian times only the father worked and the mother stayed at home doing the housework in the poorest families, and doing plans for parties or other things in the richest families. In Victorian times a lot of families had a nanny. Nowadays, in lots of families the grandfather and grandmother take care of the children. In Victorian families the boys worked since they were 10 or 12 years old, but in our society, the boys start working at the age of 18 more or less. The girls in Victorian times didn’t work, they stayed at home waiting for a rich husband, and in our society the girls work as the boys do.
