School is from Monday to Friday. Lessons start at nine o'clock and finish at half past three. We usually have a fifteen- minute break in the morning and a one-hour break for lunch.
We study ten subjects. Maths, English, Science, Technology, Physical Education and one foreign language are compulsory. After school we can do extra activities such as Sport, Music, or Art.
In many secondary schools students wear a uniform- usually a special shirt, tie, jacket and trousers or a skirt.
We stay at school until we are sixteen. Then we take GSCE exams. We can leave school after the exams or stay two more years and take A- level exams.
