Xavier Mariscal was borns in València in1950.

Graphical, industrial, comics designer, this recognized artist faces everything what does with a fresh glance, almost infantile, catching the amused aspects of life. Although the references of the pop culture are inevitable, Mariscal knows to mix it with the characteristics of their Mediterranean roots. the result are works full of light and vitality. With 19 years he was yet in Valencia publishing Mr. him of the Pony, its first personage. In 1971 he transferred to Barcelona, he studied in the Elisava school and he found the Masked Rrollo, an underground comic sold in the street. In 1977 he made his first individual exhibition, The Great Hotel, in which it transforms the space into a Hotel to multidiscipline, being able to find painted crystals, jerseys handmade, cardboard objects stone, publishing product or aperitives of colours. In 1989 his personage Cobi was chosen as the mascot of the Olympic Games Barcelona 92. In 1996 Twipsy the mascot of the Universal Exhibition Hannover 2.000 was chosen. It is made the development of the corporative project and the one of merchandising. In 1998 he founded Muviscal a company dedicated to the audio-visual production. there were made the Twipsy cartoons, 52 chapters of 15 minutes. In 1999 Study Mariscal produced Colours. This it is a visual spectacle in where they coexist a retroproyección screen, a protagonist-narrator who are a robot (Dimitri), 7 actors who are gymnasts, dancers and schemers, 4 robots singing, a sound track and an equipment of lights. It is a story in humor tone in where the history of the colours is narrated. He has never left the most artistic aspect of his race and his work has been exposed in numerous individual and collective exhibitions throughout this period. Also he did conferences in different parts from the world, shows his work and he explains his professional experience to students of different disciplines.
