Biography

 

When he was younger it had to go to Poland and it returned from there at year 1959, to the 21 years, when a general and theater culture also has no only a good professional formation but much more solid that the one of its friend of generation. That is been from the superposition of a lot of influences and accumulated layers of its childhood and adolescence: the one of its Catalan origins, lived intensely to the familiar atmosphere, with the transmission of a language and cultural bases that, in its case, incorporates, in addition a inhabitual culture to the world to the nature; another Castilian substrate, peculiarly acquired to Poland with the Friends of the Iberian Culture, that it will substantially extend to the his return;: a solid French formation secundaría of the years of first exile in Toulouse; and finally the complex of great volume of acquired Central European culture in its years in Poland centered in this national cultural reality, but not only extended to the neighboring enslaved realities and in smaller degree to the germanic world. He was student of the Grammar school of Plastic Arts and the academy of Beautiful arts where in addition to the formation as theatrical designer and figurinista acquire a solid plastic base in all the scopes of the artistic expression.

When arriving Barcelona he join with a group of people that wnated to go on with new dramatic poposes.
He was a student of the Escola d'Art Dramàtic Adrià Gual (EADAG). Perhaps as student it learned little, but it managed to connect intensely dinamicos the cultural sectors month and interesting of the moment since we cannot forgets in the first years to the School hi mentioned not only people of theaters but writers, plastic and intellectual artists of all the sectors. In any case and by important that the hers presence to l'EADAG between the 1961 went and the 1963 that one experience could be encouraging but it was not sufficient: he wanted to live on his professional activity in the theater, although that you require to him to offer its services to the enemy, to say itself, the professional theater of the moment.

Second half of its professional life, fifteen of its thirty years in active-duty, was then, totally dedicated to the Free Theater. From the foundation ot Teatre Lliure he worked intensivity in this intitution.
