DESIGN DURING THE 60ies

During
the post war the international contacts were few. André Ricard
have a cosmopolitan character, he takes ideas from other European countries
but he collaborated to the international diffusions of our design and
he helps to get better a little elements of the Spanish houses of the
"Lacking in functionality and aesthetic parameters". Some of
the daily objects were designed following "nineteenth-century parameters"
and in an old-fashioned style, as you can see in this photos.
André Ricard contributes to change towards the daily environment. Since already we have seen the majority of objects designed by Ricard they are common objects, packages, china, sanitary, domestic appliances, all of them they are designed without big formal pretensions but that want to incorporate small but significant innovations. |
