The majority of people think she is the best tennis player in the world. She was a champion of “Roland Garros” tournament in 1989 and 1994. She also won the “Cup of Federation” in 1991, 1992 and 1994. She is the winner of two medals in the “Olympic Games” of Barcelona – 92 (one of bronze and one of silver). The silver medal was won playing against Conchita Martinez. Finally Arantxa Sanchez Vicario won the prize “Principe de Asturias” in 1998. |
