Tawny Vulture It is a scavenger bird that has a long, white, bare neck. Its beak is long and bent for reaping all the meat off the animals that it feeds from; it eats dead animals.Its wingspan can measure almost three meters.In the Martin River Cultural Park there are many of them and in Alacón there is a feeding place.Vanesa Ruiz It feeds on corpses of other animals. It is big and has many feathers. It belongs to the birds of pray family. Tawny vultures usually fly in flocks.They make their nests on the mountains cliffs. Between the end of December and the beginning of February they lay a single egg that is smooth and white.Marta.
	Wild goat We can see them in the mountains.The male goats have biggest horns than the female. In their horns they have rings, and if you were count them, you could find out how old they are.Wild goats eat grass in the mountains. Baby goats feed milk from their mothers, and when they grow up, they eat mountain grass too. The mothers and the baby goats always go together and walk single file.They drink in the river and lakes.Goats fight each other with their horns.Oscar Pallarés.
The Fox It is a mammal and is carnivorous.It has a pointy nose and the hair on its back is black; on its tummy is white, and on its legs is brown.Its head is broad and has soft cinnamon colour hair; its tail is also wide and greyish. It lives in the mountains and eats animals such us hares, rabbits, squirrels...Pilar
	The Red beaked Chough The chough is an agile bird. It is black and its eyes are brown and its beak and legs are red. Its beak is very long and red. It is a small bird with back feathers. With its feet, it clings to tree branches very well.This animal eats insects. There are plenty at the Martin River.Joaquín
The owl The owl is a night bird and its face looks like if it had been squashed; its eyes are black. It is about 90 cm long, its feathers are white and brown and eats small animals. It has got short wings.Rubén
	The Lavender It is an aromatic plant and it is possible to make cologne out of it. Its colour is purple and smells very well. We have some at the school.Isma
The Magpie It is a bird, its colour is black with white on its breast. It has got a beak; its wings are lilac and its tail is long and black. It eats insects such as worms.There are many of them in the Martin River Cultural Park.
