The Poplar
The poplar is a tall tree, reaching a height of 25 meters more o less.Poplars usually live next to rivers. This is why there are so many at the Martin River, which we are studying.Poplars have a very big trunk, which is brown. In Autumn, it sheds all its leaves, because it is a caduceus tree.Its leaves are green colour: on one side they are light green, on the other they are white.

It is an aromatic plant and it is possible to make cologne out of it. Its colour is purple and smells very well. We have some at the school.

It is a shrub that blooms in spring . The flowers are purple. Its leaves are long with round ends and smell well.It is used for making cologne and cough medicine; also is used as a spice for food.

The Sabina's leaves are light green colour. It is a bush that has a twisted brown trunk.It is short. Its fruit its round and green and when it is about to drop, it turns brown .In the playground there are sabinas.

It is an aromatic plant and it is used for cooking and to make medicines. Its flower is purple and it lives in the mountains. It is a beautiful small plant.Lola says we should never pull it up from its root.
