OUR FIRST VISIT TO THE NATURAL RESERVE OF PY

Class CP-CE2. Teacher: Sr. Thierry Bordes

On Monday 14th of October we went to Py.We went down the bus and we went to the information centre. After that we went to visit the Natural reserve.

We looked at the map of the Natural Reserve of Py to know what kind of animal we were going to see with Chantal, our guide.

At the entrance we read the norms of the reserve. It is forbidden to go by motorbike, to smoke, to light a fire, to throw rubbish on the ground, to pick up wild flowers and to camp. After that we went on.

We walked until we arrived to the hill and we went trough the forest. There were lots of leaves, and the sky was shining.

This is Py's town. It's surrounded by trees, it's a very beautiful sigh.

As we were very tired, we stopped, and we took a look at the mountains and we had lunch.

We also stopped here and Chantal asked us to look al the landscape and to answer this question: What side is more touched by the sun?

We walk for hours. It was really hot.

Later on we group ourselves in teams. Chantal wanted us to pick up fruits, leaves and seeds. We compared what we have picked up.

This tree has got yellow, reddish and brown leaves because it's autumn and the leaves falling is beginning.

Then we went to the river, we kneel down to touch the water, and it was cold.

After that we draw a shepherd's refuge.

We stopped in front of a stone house and we also draw it.

All trough the walk we found some obstacles as wooden barriers, cows and trunks. Anyway it was very beautiful.

In the afternoon we went back to the centre and we talked about what we liked the most and how did we enjoyed the visit.
