FARM PARK 2

Owls are not able to make nests because of the shape of their beaks-they can't pick up nesting materials. This means that owls have to lay their eggs on the ground.

This is 'Otis', the smallest of the owls we have seen. He is brown with black eyes. He comes from India originally and his favourite food is spiders.

Otis' sat on one of our classmates' arm whilst he stroked him. The owls that we saw were very tame but this is not the case in the wild.

After seeing and learning about these owls, we decided to draw some pictures of these beautiful creatures.
