WHERE WE LIVE - LLANDUDNO, WALES

Our town is a Victorian holiday town on the North Wales coast called Llandudno. It is very popular with tourists as it has lots of hotels, two lovely beaches, a pier, a Nature Reserve and lots of shops. One hundred and fifty years ago there were only a few houses here, now there are several thousand houses. We think it is a lovely place to live. Here is the view from the Great Orme Country Park, which looks over Llandudno:-

This is a map of Wales, which is where we live. In Welsh, we call it Cymru. Ysgol Bodafon is in Llandudno, which is in the very North of our country. It is very beautiful with lots of mountains, lakes and forests.

This is our flag. It has a Red Dragon on it. The reason for this is that two dragons lived in Wales, on white and the other red. Both fought for many years until the Red dragon finally won.
