VISIT TO THE SNOWDONIA NATIONAL PARK

![]() We have followed the river Glaslyn from its start to the sea. This is Porthmadog where the river meets the sea. Rumour has it that this is where Madog sailed to America from, a long time before Colombus. There are Indians who speak Welsh there today! |
![]() This area is a nature reserve. There are birds here called Curlews, Lapwings, Redshanks and Shellduck. We saw lots of them. It is important for wildlife. |
![]() This is the bridge that has been built across the River Glaslyn. It is more like a damn. It has reclaimed the land which is now used by farmers. |
