VISIT TO TAUTAVEL

The 17th of November the ZER Barida-Batllia in Cerdanya went to the Tautavel's museum with Joseph-Sebastien Pons School of Rivesaltes. We did a few workshops on Prehistory.Tautavel is a small village in the Rosselló where they have found important remains of the first men who lived in Europe 450.000 years ago.All the groups did two workshops and visited an exhibition: the fire workshop , the cave painting workshop and the mammoth's exhibition and the first inhabitants of Europe.

In the fire workshop we had to try to make a spark with the chattels that the prehistoric men had.It was very complicated! In the workshop of cave paintings, first they showed the skills and cave works to us and then we played the role of cave painters. Here are our paintings!
In the exhibition room there was a very entertaining exhibition about the mammoth. There was a mammoth! The other exhibition was about the first inhabitants in Europe and the places where they have found remains.
