Brook trout (salmo trutta fario)It mesures about 60 cm.The colour is variable with yellow and green tones, alternate dark spots with other red ones, along their body.They live in all permanent water torrents of the park |

Pyrenean mountain newt(Euproctus asper)It mesures about 10-14 cm. Their skin is very rough.The belly is an intense orange. It alwaysw lives in very clean and cold waters. |

Bearded vulture(Gypaetus barbatus)It measures 102-114cm. The chest and the face of the adults is orange amd the wings are black. It feeds on bones that break when throw in the scree. It's a protected animal. |
Golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos)It measures 75 a 88 cm. It's a protected animal. This eagle has got brown feathers excepdt at the nape of the neck where it's more clear and gold. |

Capercaillie (Tetrao urugallus)It mesures 86 to 61 cm. The male is bigger and dark with a bluish chest and bright reflections. On the eye has a red spot.The females are brown and they carraflage with their surroundings. It's a protected animal. |
Tengmalm's owl(Aegolius funereus)It mesures 25 cm. It's a protected animal.The head is big and round and around the face it's black.It lives in a black pine forest.It's difficult to see it. |

Black woodpecker(Drycopus martius)It mesures 46 cm long.It's a protected animal and symbol of the park. It's the great woodpecker. It's a shining black colour. The males have a red head and the females have a red spot at the nape of the neck. |
Common crossbill(Loxia curvirostra)It mesures 16'5 cm. They have a robust beak with crossed jaws to extract fruit of the pines. The male is a reddish colour and the female and young ones are greenish. |

Pyrinean desman(Galemys pyrenaicus)It mesures 11 to 13'5 cm. The tail is longer than the body. It has a long and wide snout that moves without stopping. It swims very well. It lives in cold and clean torrents. There are very few of them. |
Brown hare (Lepus europaeus)It mesures 40 to 76 cm long. It's bigger than a rabbit. It has got a long ears. Their legs are very long. It lives in the meadows. |

Chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra)It mesures 100 to 130 cm. It loks like adomestic goat. It has got horms curved at the ends. It's a brown colour. In winter it darkenes. On it's head has a long, blak mask that surrounds the eyes. It has increased in numbers in the recent years. |
Otter (Lutra lutra)It mesures 60 to 80 cm. Its body is extended. It has got a long and fat tail, that it uses like rudder when it swims. It's a brown colour with a clear belly. It has fingers joined by membranes to swim better. It lives in rivers with clean waters. They are few of them. |
