On Thursday October 7th, we did the Route of the Otter in Martinet. It is a route along a stretch of the River Segre. It has 8 stops marked so you can study diverse aspects of the otter's life, the river and the riverside forests. At the first stop, we had to distinguish the different trees found in a riverside forest. |

At the 2nd stop we were told where we could find otters. The otter is an animal with nocturnal habits. At the 3rd stop we were told about where they live and at the 4th they showed us how to identify their tracks. |
|
At the 5th stop we recognised their excrement and at the 6th we were told how they reproduce. At the 7th stop we saw different kinds of dens. |

The 8th stop was the viewpoint, a place to situate ourselves, with a large poster about river fauna. Then we went back along the same path to Martinet. |
