There are different mountain heights in the park. In the south of Montalbán, "The Muela" Mountain rises 2045 metres above see level. Arcos Mountain Range is in the North of the Park and has mountains of over 800 metres high. River Martin and its tributaries Radon, Escuriza and Cabra) have carved very important cannons like "The Estrechos" one. In this place the River goes through a narrow gorge between very high rock walls.

The wind and water erode the rocks and make sculptures like geographic features which are named geological formations.
