The golden eagle
The golden eagle is a bird, it drives out many of other animals: fish... Its size is 45 cm 1,05 m. The eye of the eagle is larger than that of the adult man. Longevity: 20 years. Its nozzle is hooked and its plumage preserves the eagle at the heat. You know why the nozzle of the golden eagle is hooked? Because it can lacerate its prey. It is carnivorous
The genette
The genette is a mammal, it is omnivorous. Its size makes 87 to 90 cm, its weight 1 to 3 kg. It lives in Africa and also in Europe. It has a lengthened body, its peeling is of color gray mottled brown black on the back. The genette lives for approximately 15 years. The genette is a protected animal. It has a tail of 40 centimetres, it is very rare.
The capercaillie
It is called also the cock of heather . It is easy to recognize because of its size, its dark plumage and its long tail. It lives forests of conifers, hêtraies, oak groves, as much in zones of mountain as in flat grounds. Diet: It feeds on seeds, fruits and insects. Protection/Threats: The capercaillie is mainly threatened by the modification of its habitat and illegal hunting. Added to these problems the disturbances are added for the period of reproduction due to the creation of the tracks and forest work. Statute: Species protected in France
