We arrived in Warrington!!!
It was one o’clock more or less when we touch the English land, but here it was twelve o’clock. We wered in the plane for two hours. When we arrived in the airport we went to look for the bags. Outside we went to look for the bus, and this bus took us to Warrington.
When we arrived at the school, there our families werewaiting for us. When we saw the English partners everybody was happy. The Spanishstudents went to the English houses, becouse we needed to relax.In the car I saw the streets, the parks and other things, all was different. In Spain there is more pollution than here, here all is green and very nice.
Here there aren’t any flags, all are houses with big gardens and there aren’t many garages in the houses. At thee o’clock me and my English partner met the other people at Will’s house. At six o’clock everybody went to their house, becouse it was the time for dinner. Me and three more people went to Laura’s house and played with the playstation2.
At 12 o’clock we went to bed, becouse I was very tired.
Hemos llegado a Warrington!
Eran la una más o menos cuando hemos pisado el suelo inglés pero aquí eran las doce del medio día, es decir una hora menos.
Estuvimos dos horas en el avión.
Cuando llegamos al aeropuerto fuimos a buscar las maletasy después salimos a fuera donde nos esperaba un autobús para llevarnos a Warrington.
El autobús nos dejó en la escuela, y allí nos esperaban las familias. Cuando todo el mundo vio a los ingleses se pusieron muy contentos. Fuimos cada uno a su casa correspondiente para relajarnos un poco después del viaje. Pero antes de llegar en casa cuando iba en coche me fije con las casas, las calles, los parques... todo es muydiferente. Aquí en Inglaterra hay poca contaminación y todo es muy bonito. Todos los edificios son bajitos y no hay pisos. Las casas son muy bonitas y casi todas tienen un grande jardín. A las tres volvimos a vernos unos cuantos en casa de Will. Miramos una película y a las 6 volvimos a casa para cenar un poco, Cuando terminamos fuimos a casa de Laura y estuvimos jugando en un juego de la “playstation2”. A las 12 nos fuimos a la cama porque yo estaba muy cansada.

Second day. We met all the Spanish people at nine o’clock in the school. All the people in the school were wearing a uniform.
The English people said hola when they saw us.
We saw the school with Freda, the art teacher. The school is very big ant there are a lot of students and teachers. People work with computers. There are a lot of computer rooms. When we finsihed our visit around the school we went to the Spanish class and there we watched Click (film) in English but we couldn’t finish it. We went with the English partners to their leassons. The lessons there are very different from the lessonshere!
At twelve we went to have lunch in the dinning room in the school andthen we went to do more lessons. When the lessons finished all the people went home.
In the evening we went to a barbecue with all the families. At half past ten I went to my house and I could surf the net and talk with my family!
Segundo día. Nos encontramos todos los españoles a las nueve y media en la escuela. Todos los estudiantes aquí llevan uniforme, es de color verde con unos pantalones o falda negra. Los ingleses cuando nos veían nos decían hola por el pasillo. La profesora de arte, Fredanos enseñó todo el colegio, es muy grande con muchas clases y muchos profesores y estudiantes. Aquí estudian y trabajan con los ordenadores.
Después miramos la película clic en inglés pero no la pudimos terminar de ver. Fuimos al comedor y después a las clases junto los ingleses. Las clases son muy diferentes aquí!A las doce fuimos otra vez al comedor y comimos un poco. Volvimos a las clases y cuando éstas terminaron nos fuimos cada uno a su casa. Por la tarde fuimos a cenar una barbacoa con todas las familias y a las diez y media marchamos a casa. Como todavía no tenía sueño me pude conectar al messenger y hablar con mi familia!

I woke up at 7:30. Then I had breakfast and at 9 we arrived in the school. All the Spanish people went with their partners to their lessons. At the second hour all the exchange people went to the Spanish room and we played a game. Then when we finished the game, all the Spanish people went to Freda’s classroom and we did funny things! 
Then we went to the dinning room and we had lunch. We went home, but before that we played music with the music teacher! We stayed for 45 minutes at home because then we went to catch the bus in order to go to the shopping center in Manchester. At 8 o`clock we arrived at the shopping center and we only had time for dinner and to see two shops. Manchester at night is very nice. At eleven we arrived home and we went to bed.

Me levanté a las siete y media, después tomé el desayuno y a las nueve llegamos a la escuela. Todos los españoles acompañamos a los ingleses a sus clases y a segunda hora todos los estudiantes del intercambio nos encontramos en una clase para jugar a un juego muy divertido. Cuando el juego se acabó los españoles fuimos a una clase con Freda la profesora de arte y nos lo pasamos muy bien con ella. Nos explicó cosas sobre un museo que visitaríamos. Al terminar nos reunimos todos en el comedor de la escuela y después tocamos unos instrumentos con la profesora de música del colegio. Nos marchamos a casa andando y cuando llegamos sólo estuvimos 45 minutos, porque después tuvimos que ir a la parada del bus para poder ir al centro comercial de Manchester. Cuando llegamos allí eran las 8 y sólo tuvimos tiempo de poder cenar y mirar 2 tiendas. Manchester por la noche es muy bonito. Cuando llegamos a casa eran las 11 y nos fuimos a la cama!

Nos levantamos y desayunamos como cada dia y nos fuimos al instituto, dónde un autobús nos esperaba para llevarnos a visitar Liverpool.
Al llegar nos fuimos a visitar la Universidad de allí ya que era la única en Inglaterra en la que se enseñaba catalan, vasco y español. Después nos fuimos a la feria de las universidades de Liverpool y comimos en un Subway. Al acabar nos dejaron tiempo libre y al volver a Warrington comimos el tipico Fish and Chips mientras mirabamos las fotos que hicimos cuando los ingleses estaban en Igualada.
Nos fuimos a casa y cada uno hizo una cosa diferente.
We woke up and had breakfast before going to the institute where a bus was waiting for us to take us to Liverpool. In Liverpool we visited the University where people can learn Spanish, Catalan and Basque. After that we went to eat in a Subway and we had some free time.
Then we returned to Warrington and we ate the typical fish and chips watching the pictures of the English people in Igualada. Finally we went home and everyone did something different.

Eran las 7:30 cuando nos despertamos. Nos cambiamos, bajamos a desayunar y nos fuimos para la escuela. Al llegar, fuimos las dos primeras clases con nuestros ingleses y la última antes del patio, fuimos a la clase de arte donde nos esperaba Frida para ayudarnos a decorar nuestro diario. La verdad es que la profesora tenía muchas ideas.
A las 11 fuimos al patio y luego continuamos con nuestros ingleses yendo a clase hasta la hora de comer que volvimos a juntarnos todos los españoles en la cantina. Después de comer y descansar en el patio tan grande que había, volvimos a clase cada uno con su inglés hasta finalizar ya las clases.
Al finalizar cada uno fue con su inglés para casa o para donde tuviera que ir su compañero / a inglés. La verdad es que aquel día había sido un poquito aburrido ya que tuvimos que estar en la escuela todo el día.
We woke up at half past seven. We got dressed andwe had breakfast and then we went to school. When we arrived at school, we went with the English people to class. We stayed with them for two hours and then we went to the Art Class with Freda, and Freda taught us to decorate our diary.
At eleven o’clock we went to the court and had the second breakfast. After that, we went with the English people to the class and then, we went to la Cantina and here, we stayed with the ohter Spanish people and had lunch. When we finished lunch, we went to the court. Then we went to class with the English people.
When we finished the lessons everyone went with his / her English friend and went to his house. This day was a little boring because we were all day at school.

Nos despertamos un poco más tarde, eran más o menos las ocho menos diez. Nos cambiamos, bajamos a desayunar y como cada día, fuimos para la escuela.
Nos estuvimos esperando allí en la escuela que llegaran todos, entonces preparamos cada uno dos preguntas para hacerle a la directora de la escuela de primaria que iríamos a visitar esta misma mañana. Eran les 9:15 cuando nos empezamos a dirigir hacia la Escuela, situada enCinnamon Brow, muy cerca de nuestra escuela y por lo tanto fuimos andando. Allí nos enseñaron las clases, la manera en que dirigíanaquella escuela, la seguridad, etc. Lo que mas nos impresionó fue el montón de ordenadores que tenían ya en una escuela primaria! Tenían más ordenadores ellos en una escuela de primaria que no nosotros en nuestra escuela de secundaria. La manera de enseñar era un poco diferente a la de aquí.
Cuando finalizamos la visita, le hicimos las preguntas a la directora y nos dirigimos otra vez a “Padgate School”. Una vez allí, fuimos a las clases con nuestros ingleses hasta finalizar la escuela y entonces cada uno fue para su casa con su amigo / ainglés.
We got up later than the other days. We got up at 7:50. We wore our clothes, we had breakfast and we went to the school.
When we arrived at school, we waited for all the people to arrive and then we thought two questions to ask to the head teacher of the primary school. After that, we went to this school walking because it’s nearer than our school. It was in Cinnamon Brow.
When we arrived at the school, the manager showed us the classrooms, the security, etc. There were a lot of computers. We think that there are more computers in this school than in our school (in Spain).
When finished the visit, everyone asked the head teacher his / her questions and then, we went to PADGATESCHOOL. We arrived at school and there, everyone went with his / her English friend to the class and when the class finished everyone went with his English friend to his / her house.

Nos despertamos con fuerza y ánimos esta mañana ya que hoy nos esperaba un gran día y lleno de diversidad y sonrisas, Hoy era el gran día que todos esperábamos. Hoy íbamos a “ALTON TOWERS”.
Llegamos puntuales al colegio para irnos con el autobús que nos llevaría al mismo parque. Todos en el autobús estábamos cantando, riendo… teníamos muchas ganas de ir. Además, hacia buen tiempo.
Al llegar al parque los maestros que iban con nosotros, Abel y Sarah, nos dieron las entradas y nos dijeron que a las 6 querían vernos en la entrada. Entonces nos fuimos dividiendo en grupos. Nosotros íbamos los mismos de siempre: Samuel, Marc, Jordi, Esther, Maria, Alba, Raquel, Arian y Anna. Subimos a muchísima atracciones, y la verdad que bastante fuertes algunas. También tiramos en las canastas de baloncesto para ver si ganábamos algo y si, Samuel, Marc y Jordi ganaron una serpiente muy grande cada uno.
Todo el día estuvimos andando y subiendo en atracciones.
Cuando eran las 6, llegamos a la entrada y eran las 6:30 y aún no habían llegado un grupo de ingleses. Sarah los estaba llamando al móvil pero no se lo cogían y a las siete menos cuarto llegaron y nos explicaron que les habían llegado tarde porque cuando se estaban montando en los troncos, se averiaron los troncos y se quedaron arriba tirados hasta ahora que no les habían podido bajar.
Nos montamos en el autobús y volvimos para Warrington, cada uno para su casa.
We got up at the same time than the other day but with another diference, today it was the big day because we went to “ALTONTOWERS” and we were nervous. When we finishedbreakfast, we went to school because there there was a bus waitingto carry us to AltonTowers. 
When we arrived atAltonTowers, the teachers (Abel and Sarah) said to us that at six o’clock we had to be at the door where we were staying at that moment. We went in groups that we chose. We were the same group as usual: Samuel, Marc, Jordi, Esther, Maria, Raquel, Alba, Arian y Anna.
We went up a lot of thrills and we laughted a lot. We also played basketball and Samuel, Marc and Jordi won a very big snake.
At six o’clock we stayed at the entrance the teachers had said before. At half past six were waiting at the same entrance although there was a group of people who had not arrived yet. Sarah telephoned them but they didn’t answer the telephone. Five minutes later, the group arrived and said that they had arrived later because when they were staying in a water thrill, the thrill broke down and they couldn’t move.
After that, we came back to the bus and returned to Warrington.

Hoy ha sido un día para estar con la familia, yo he ido con algunos amigos a jugar a golf, a visitar un poquito la ciudad, y hemos ido a cenar a casa de una chica. Después hemos ido a la fiesta de cumpleaños de una compañera de intercambio.
Today it has been a day to stay with the family, I went with some friends to town, and we went to play golf, after we went th have dinner at a friend’s house. After we went to a party with all the people. It was a friend’s birthday.

Hoy hemos ido a una fábrica de algodón, hemos podido ver el proceso que usaban para producir el algodón. La fábrica es muy vieja. También hemos podido ver donde la gente de aquella época, vivía, dormía, trabajaba... Por la tarde hemos ido todos al parque.
Today we went to a cotton factory. We saw all the process of the cotton. It is a very old factory and we couldsee where the people of that year, lived, slept, worked... In the afternoon we went to the park with all the people.

Nos despertamos temprano y fuimos a la escuela. El autobús nos llevó a Chester, la ciudad romana.
Cuando llegamos, fuimos caminando alrededor de la muralla. Es muy bonita y larga.Desde la muralla se podía ver toda la ciudad. Cuando bajamos de allí, paseamos por las calles y vimos algunas tiendas. Despues fuimos a Cheshire Oakes, que es es un lugar muy grande con muchas tiendas. Pero sólo fuimos la gente española. Al anochecer volvimos a Warrington a nuestras casas.
We woke up very early and we went to the school. The bus took us to Chester, the Roman city. When we arrived, we walked around the wall. It is very beautiful and long. From the the wall you could see all the city. When we went down the wall we walked ad the streets and saw some shops.
Then we went to Cheshire Oakes. It’s a big place with lots of shops. But only the Spanish peoplewent to this place.At night everybody went home to sleep.

Por la mañana fue bastante aburrido, pasamos todo el día en la escuela. Hablamos con algunas personas e hicimos algunos juegos.
Por la noche fuimos al parque y jugamos con unos ingleses. Entonces nos fuimos a casa, comimos algo y nos fuimos a dormir.
In the morning it was very boring… We spent all the day atschool. We spoke with some people and we playedsome games. At night we went to the park and played some sports with some more English people. Then we went home and ate something and then we went to sleep.

Nosdespertamos con un mal sabor de boca ya que ese era el ultimo día antes de irnos. Desayunamos tranquilamente y nos encontramos en el instituto. Hicimos las classes con nuestros compañeros de intercambio respectivos, comimos, volvimos a las classes y más tarde a casa.
Las siguientes horas las aprovechamos para pasarlas con nuestras familias y compartir esas horas juntos antes de la cena de despedida. Por la noche nos fuimos al instituto que era donde se celebraria la última cena que pasariamos en Warrington. En la cena nos regalaron un llavero con el nombre de nuestro compañero de intercambio. Más tarde pusieron musica,… Más tarde volvimos a casa y pasamos nuestra última noche en las respectivas casas.
We woke up with a very sad feeling because it was the last day before we left Warrington.
We had breakfast as usual and we met in the institute. We stayed with our mates in their lessons. We had lunch, we did more lessons and the we returned home. After that we stayed our last hours with our exchange family before the final dinner in Warrington. In the dinner party they gave us a keyring with our partner’s name and they put music for dance,… Finally we went home and we slept the last night in our family’s house.

Nos despertamos con ganas de volver a casa, pero a la vez de quedarnos en Warrington por miedo a no ver nunca más las familias que nos habían acogido. Desayunamos como siempre y estuvimos el resto de las horas con nuestros amigos ingleses. Finalmente llegó la hora fatídica, o sea, la despedida.
La gente lloraba y fué una despedida muy amarga para todos. Muchos prometimos volver y esperamos poder hacerlo algun dia.
We woke up with thedesire of coming back home, but also with desires of remaining for fear of not seeing our English families again. We had breakfast as every day and we stayed the rest of the time with our English partners. Finally, the fatidical hourarrived, the farewell.
The people cried and it was a sad farewell for everybody. Some of us promised to return and we hope we can do it.
