Mathematical Photography Contest

The "IES Joanot Martorell" (Secondary - High School) organised for a second year a mathematical Photography Contest, where pupils, teachers and other staff of the school could participate. The winner (among pupils) of the contest was Mireia Gutiérrez Castellà, who was doing the 1st year of ESO. Her nominated photograph was called "Arrels quadrades paraleles" (Parallel square root).
Marta Berini, who is a Maths teacher, was also nominated for her photograph called "Tangential Love".

The school entered on a Mathematical Photography contest organised by the Study and Learning of Mathematics Association. The participants mentioned above were also nominated.

Consequently, we hope pupils and teachers of Joanot will enter for the contest next year.
