BIOGRAPHY

At the end of 1987 four friends decided to start a band. First those guys were Aitor Gorosabel, Asier Osoro, Xabi Bastida and Borxa Arrillaga. All of them came from Eibar an industrial city in the basque counrty, in north of Spain.
Their first concert was in 1988, and they called themselves Su Ta Gar (is a word in basque). Their first album was recorded in March in 1991 by Zarata Records. Its name is “Jaiotze basatia”. In April 1992 they recorded “Hortzak Estuturik”. When they were planning to record a new album, Borxa had an accident which made them change their plans. They took is brother Galdo as the new drummer and recorded “Sentimenak jarraituz”. After sometimes they changed their drummer again. He is called Iban Zugarramurdi. As an answer to their followers request, in June 1999 they recorded “Su ta gar 1987-89”. The next record was recorded at the end of 1999, and the beginning of 2000. It is called “Homo-sapiens” up till now they have done over 500 live concerts sharing stages with various artists.
