Mystery in the Middle Ages. Solving the Murder

All the members of the other group will have to create the part of the detective. Of course, at that time, there weren't detectives or the police. So, we can only think of a cultured person, who knew how to read and write, who could investigate and, finally, draw conclusions: a monk or a priest

2. All the members of the group will have to decide everything together, but afterwards you will carry out each task in pairs or small groups:
  1. Describe the character who investigates the murder, not only physically or psychologically, but also where he comes from and how he found out about this awful event.
  2. Describe the scene after the murder was committed, pointing out how each character discovered that the murder had been committed.
  3. Explain how the murder actually happened.
  4. Describe the Trial in which the murderer was punished. First, find out what the "Judgement of God" was and other ways to punish someone in the Middle Ages.
Tell the others about it. (Oral Activity)
  5. Draw a picture which could summarize each part of this scene.
