TThis is an European folk song data base that aims to offer some musical resources to the educational community. All countries from the old continent are represented in this data base. This project is opened to any collaboration and modification that could be suggested by persons or institutions.
This collection offers different musical files from each song that can be heard as well as retrieved. Form each song you will find,

• the score
• the letter of the song
• the score with text written under the notes
• a colour-coded score analysis.
  

Files that can be retrieved

Files are identified with a number and two letters corresponding to the country identification used in Internet. If the file contents is the text of the song then it has a t in its extension. If it is the score analysis then an f is included in the file' extension. . The kind of data of retrieval files is,

• MusicTime 3.0 files(*.mus): You'll need a version of Passport Designs'software to visualise the file contents.

• MIDI files (*.mid): You can listen this files with Windows Media Player or other software that recognises this format.

• Write files(*.wri): You can read this files with Windows Write or with Windows WordPad.
