The objective of 
          this activity is to allow the students to sing internally in order to 
          follow the tune and to find the rests. 
        PROCEDURE
        Play 
          the tune twice and then play it again with some notes removed. 
        Make 
          the students to answer with the pattern: "There is..."
        E.g.
        "There 
          is a quarter rest on the second beat on the first bar."
