Warm Up

We revise the information we have got about the 'Modernisme' and 'Arts & Crafts' and about the artists we already know: Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Antoni Gaudí and Alexandre de Riquer.
1.

We ask the children to make another poster about a new modernist artist, Santiago Rusiñol, a watercolour painter as well as a writer and a playwright.

2.

Before starting by doing the posters we give our pupils worksheet 9 to know more about Santiago Rusiñol. We go to the ICT room to do this worksheet.
3.

Back to class we read the sentences and we write them on an A1 writing pad.
4.

We sit in front of our corner and we locate in the time line when Rusiñol was born and when he died.

5.

We talk about what we know about posters looking at the information we collected.

Homework

Children have to bring to school all the materials necessary to do the poster about Rusiñol.
