net.

culture and traditions.
PROCEDURE

Write an article with information
about your country.

Send this writing to one of
the web sites which can publish it: Write Now or Ex*Change.

Writing
This is your chance to write
what you would like the others to know about your country. You can either
write about your country in general, as Lavinia Ciupala did with Romania,
or write about something more particular: celebrations, parenting, sports,
etc. Look at the list of topics in Ex*Change
World Cultures and choose one of them, if you prefer. Once you have
decided what to write about, tell your teacher and begin writing.

Look for more information
about your topic (ask parents, friends, read...)

Write down all your ideas
on a piece of paper.

Organize your ideas and
classify them under the following headings:

introduction / start
-
body/ important things
-
conclusion / end / summary
-
Open your word processor and
begin writing. Link your ideas in different paragraphs. Write at
least one paragraph for each of the sections listed above. Save the text
as "uni2tas4".

Use your dictionary to look
up the meaning of words.

Revise your writing as
many times as necessary: the spelling, the punctuation, capital letters,
verb tenses... Ask your teacher and partners to revise it, too.

Try to be creative. Bear
in mind that many people from all over the world can read your article.
It must be interesting, curious, unusual...
When your article is ready send
it to “Write
Now” or to Ex*Change
World Cultures . Your teacher will help you.
The last thing is to wait
for it to be published.
