Legend The Gegant
The Farell is a mountain that is next to the town, its name agrees with a legend that says ':
In the town of Heatings of Montbui, there was a masía called the Farell, in which a very high and great giant lived. It had as much force that all knew him by the name of "Farellas" and nobody of the environs could overcome it. He was modest and simple and it took a calm life dedicated to payesía.
One day, passed a giant foreign that was agape before its force. For that reason it proposed to him to go to Barcelona, where a giant Moor tapeworm kidnapped animportant and beautiful called lady Gisla.
In fact, little cost him to convince it, but in the end it decided to go and rescue the beautiful Gisla. And they went to Barcelona. By the way it took a pine of a leafy forest so that it served to him as cane and also to jump the wall that surrounded Barcelona at that time. The children followed him and they made the rounds to him singing this song to him:

The giant Moor received him and he prepared good food to him as he had by custom whenever somebody accepted its challenge. While the Farell was eating, the Moor, with rabit eyes said to him:
- Eat, Eat, Farellás, that well little you will eat.
The selected place to celebrate the great fight was the seat of the fish.
The Farell remained planted in the middle of the seat, and remained quiet while the Moor did not stop to beat to him. Then, and like who sends straw, the Farell threw it over the houses and of the tile roofs and went to stop to the outskirts.
The multitude sang tonadilla that gave aim to the oppression exerted by the foreign tyrant and thus it released to beautiful lady Gisla:

Then the Forzudo Farell took way back to its house, but it happened, that during the way he wnt under a tree to rest a little and to be able to continue later. It happened, that while the Farell slept it began to rain and to fall hail, in such a way that those piedrecitas covered the body of the giant. They say that did not awake never agian, but that on him it was formed the mountain that today is known as El Farell.
