The Roman Spas

When the Romans arrived at valle's, they felt attracted by the curativas properties of the hot water sources that appeared in the place. Already from this Roman time, the town of Heatings of Montbui became a thermal station around which an important urban nucleus was developed.

The rest that today we can admire constitute one of the few Roman thermal sets that are conserved in Europe and comprise of the historical and artistic Patrimony.

The Roman spas of Heatings were medicinal and was a set of spaces where the hygiene and the leisure were developed to different activities, and therapeutic treatments were added. In the interior, diverse tablets of gratefulness to the Gods by the different priests were exposed who contributed to reaffirm the presence of the Romans.
