Morning:

First you must go to the hotel and being installed. When you finish to installed, you can go to visit the "Barri Gothic". The Barri Gòtic is the centre of Barcelona, and in there are some buildings to visite: the Palau de la Generalitat, the Town Hall, the Cathedral, the Palau Reial.

Some places to visite in Barri Gothic are:

The Chatedral

Plaça Sant Jaume

Palau de la Generalitat

Museum of History of Barcelona

Summing up, we think that the itinerary that you should follow on Saturday 14/5/05 morning is:

You can go to the Cathedral and visit it, it’s free, next, you can have breakfast and go to the plaça Sant Jaume, in the center of the old city. After , you can go to palau de la Generelitat, you can visite it, after visiting the Genaralitat, you should have lunch, I think that should have lunch in some catalonia’s typical restaurant.

Afternoon:

After lunch, you can go round the tiny and old streets, round the catedral, go to Rambla, visit el mercat de la boqueria (a typical barcelona market, very old, too) and go to Plaça Catalunya to play some time, and next, you can go to Passeig de Gràcia, it is a very big street or avenue. In Passeig de Gràcia you can visit two important buildings by Gaudí: Casa Batlló and La Pedrera (very emblematic modernist monuments).

Casa Batlló

La Pedrera

After  visiting them you should go to have dinner to the hotel. If you are not having dinner at the hotel there are many bars in the Ramblas, or at the beginning of the Passeig the Gracia where you can have “Tapas”. If you prefer sandwiches go to “Viena”, in the Ramblas, next to the theatre “Poliorama”.

 Night:

At night you should go to take a walk by the Barceloneta, or along the Ramblas. At night it is very wonderful, I prefer Barceloneta, because in summer there are more people, and at night the beach is incredible.

After this walk, you go to the hotel to sleep.
