biography of the group
“
Philadelphia”
"Philadelphia"
is a "crèdit variable" offered by the Foreign Languages Department
in our Secondary School "Manolo Hugué", in Caldes de Montbui.
15 students
from 4th of ESO have chosen this option during the last term of the course
year 1998/99. We think this is an enjoyable and different way of learning
English and we like using the computers very much. During the term we worked
with the film, the computers, word processors, songs, CD-roms and internet.
A part from improving our English, we learnt a lot about the city of Philadelphia,
the United States, about cinema, actors, singers and about AIDS. At the
end of the term we distributed our work and we created this web site to
show you what we had been learning during the term. All the students
below have worked hard to create this page. We hope you like it!!

name is Maria Gimeno, and I am fifteen years old.
I am not very
tall. I like music, amd going shopping. I haven't got any favourite band.
I don't like football or basket. I like watching T.V. and playing the computer.
