IES LLUIS DOMENECH I MONTANER - CANET DE MAR

I have been teaching at IES Lluis Domenech I Montaner, in Canet de Mar, for over 13 years. Found in a nicely-located town on the Mediterranean shoreline and nestled at the foot of the Motnegre mountain range, our school caters the maritime mountain flavour so typical from this area of Maresme. The all-year-round presence of tourists in neighbouring areas like Calella or Arenys de Mar or the perfect location our town enjoys, close to Barcelona, have boosted students’ interest in foreign languages. English and German are currently taught at our school. Students engage in such motivating activities as videoconferencing, English theatre, email exchange, student exchanges with German schools, etc.
