4. Objectives of the School Partnership

What were the original objectives of your School Partnership as described in the application:

v     Prepare the pupils for life after school

v     Exchange of experience among the participating schools concerning educational and practical possibilities

v     Upbuilding and development of communicative systems for pupils and teachers (Internet, mail, chat, videoconference, etc)

v      Teachers and parents from the participating schools extend their local experiences and develop a school profile (at the school of their own) with endue respect for European standards and regional/local conditions.

Further comments and explanations. Have any objectives not been met?

It is easy to motivate teachers to use chat and video-conferences, but it is hard for them, when they have to speak in other languages. For some teachers the project was helpful to learn and to use other languages .

We changed the coordinator meeting in Aarhus into leader-coordinator conference on the internet. Therefore we could organize more teacher-exchanges.

11. Project evaluation

Please describe how you have evaluated the cooperation process and the results of your School Partnership.

Every time we meet in Monday-chat, leader-coordinator chat, teachers exchange and other meetings we are evaluating continually. Statistic materials about the visits of our homepage exists. The Spanish school also have listed the number of mails and chat-session the pupils made.

 

12. Unforeseen problems?

If you have experienced any unforeseen problems or obstacles for the cooperation of the School Partnership, please

describe and explain how the problems were solved

The German school had to move into another school building and had to work without computers and Internet-access for some months.
