Pestalozzischule

The School:

"Pestalozzischule" is a SpecialSchool, situated in a small town with 12.000 inhabitants in UpperAustria.  

We are a School and a SEN center for pupils with special needs for a greater region.

Our school initiative is to be a"special school"for all pupils:
 
 
 
The Pupils :
 86 pupils in four Integration-classes (Primary School classes: 20 handicapped and 66 not handicapped)
46 pupils in six classes for deeply handicapped

26 pupils in three classes for pupils with problems by learning

9 pupils in one class for vocational training.

The age of the pupils is from 06 till 18

 
The Teachers:

 
 

23 class teachers,

9 teachers are working in the classes for special subjects

3 teachers are working with speech impaired pupils and also 3 with socially disturbed pupils (also in other schools)

In our school also are working a therapist for physical handicapped pupils

and we have 12 helpers in variuos classes.

(But not all of them all are working full-time!)
