My name's Isabel Pareja and I have two children. I have always liked to learn about new things and I love reading. I've done quite a lot of research on different parenting theories and on children development. I read all kinds of "experts" on this topic until I realised there is nothing better than common sense and what your instint tells you. I'm against doing things as I am told by some so-called experts. This site is just my contribution to help mothers and fathers in the amazing journey of parenting. I'm not a pediatrician and I don't belong to the health sector, but I have the experience of being a mother and quite a lot of research to back what I'll say. I want to use information that is more difficult to find, the one you don't usually find on TV or on adverts. If what you want is some kind of Ferber or Babywise you've come to the wrong place. I don't believe in deliberately letting babies cry. The philosophy of this site is more that of attachment parenting. As there is quite a lot of good material in English (as opposed to Catalan or Spanish)I will just make a selection of existing articles in different websites and you will find them listed by topic in the different sections of this site.
