The first members of the group: Noel Gallagher, Liam Gallagher, "Bonehead", "Guigsy" and Tony McCarroll, went to Glasgow in 1992, walked into a club and told the manager that they wouldn't leave it without playing their songs. They were very lucky because there was Alan McGee, a Sony Manageer who contract them for doing 5 records.
Oasis have been on the ascent ever since. Their first single was "Supersonic" arrived at Number 1 in the Independent Chart. Afterwards arrived their first album "Definitely Maybe" and the other album singles as "Shakermaker" and perhaps one of their most famous singles "Live Forever", song that Noel is particularly proud of it.
After a tour in England, USA and Japan, which was very succesful, their own fighting made Tony McCarroll left the band.
Alan White became their new drummer.
In 1995 they edited "What's Story Morning Glory?". This album  is probably their most famous album, which included "Wonderwall" their most famous song. This album sold about 6 millions of copies around the World.
Oasis played in Barcelona in April 1996. Their USA tour was full ofincidents and they were always drunk and drug.
Oasis had won a lot of prizes: Brit Awards, Brat of NME magazine...
It was very famous thheir "war" with blur for the top of British Chart in August'96.
After a period of rest Oasis' third album "Be here now"(1997)  which this album they had to continue with their succes and songs like "Do you know what I mean?", "All around the world", help them.
Their tour in Spain was longer than the other: Zaragoza, Madrid and Barcelona, November'97.

In this year Liam and Noel got married with their girlfriends: Patsy Kensit and Meg Matthews. In 1999 Liam's first son Lennon was born in September and Anais Noel's first daughter was born in January'00.
"Standing on the Shoulder of Giants " is their new album, it contends 10 new songs. Oasis has a new band "Bonehead", Paul Athurs, and "Guigsy", Paul McGuigan, have left the band because they wanted to share more time with their families.
From the first formation only Liam and Noel have resisted, the new components are Andy and Gem.
In May'00 they will present their new album in Madrid and Barcelona.
