9^th April: The date of celebration is between 20th March and 25th April. The Easter of Resurrection is the Christian celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and lasts five days from Thursday to Monday.

• In Spain it’s celebrated in a folkloric way: Members of a brotherhood which are named cofradías” prepare a procession in which the “cofrades” or members wear a dress and a hat in a particular color, with their face covered handling candles and carrying floats . They also play drums, trumpets and more instruments while the procession takes place.
• Gastronomy: For the Easter’s Sunday, people eat special cakes that change depending on the place. In Catalonia we eat a chocolate cake decorated with eggs and other chocolate figures.
