ISOTOMIC LINES


Two lines r and s passing through the vertex A of a triangle ABC are called isotomic if r cuts the side BC at a point X and s cuts the same side at a point Y being BX = YC. That is, if they cut the side BC in points symmetrical with respect to the midpoint of BC.
