NOW AN IMPORTANT INFORMATION OF SEVERAL OLD EVENTS OF GRANOLLERS:
1) There are objects in Granollers that are 4.000 years old, the most important are of Can Trullās, from the roman age.
2) In 994 the 1st name of Granollers appeared. Then so-called Granularios Subteriore.
3) During the XIII-XIV-XV Th century, two armies fought for the territory of Granollers. The granollerins won 10,000 florins.
4) During ten years, between 1462-1472, there was a civil war between the king John 2nd and la Generalitat.
5) During the second republic, the city lived a process of social change and general politics.
6) In 1991 two important sports installations were built: the Circuit of Catatonia and the Palace sport, for the competition of the Olympics 1992.
