Casa Vicens

House of Manuel Vicens Montaner in Carolines street, Gràcia neighborn,
in Barcelona, between 1883 and 1885.

The building is made with stone and ceramic. It has mozarabic influences. The iron doorway has isnteressant organic forms.



Pavellons Güell

Güell's family has a big property
out the city of Barcelona, in the
actual area of Les Corts.

In 1883 Gaudí designed the fence,
some doors and two buildings
placed at the entrance of this property:
the porter's lodge and the stable.

 

Palau Güell

Between 1886 i el 1889 was builded
this palace in the city center of Barcelona.
It has six stages and a crowded terrace
full of chimneys of different
forms and colors

The rooms of this building are full of ornaments. The walls have relieve
and forms inspired on natural elements,
the doord and windows are also full of decoration. It's remarcable
the inside cupula, the entrance
door and the roof.


Casa Calvet

In 1898, Pere Màrtir Calvet
wanted to build a house with
diffferents apartments in
l'Eixample de Barcelona.
It was the first building of this
type that Gaudí designed.
He tries to change
the standarized architecture.


Casa Batlló

In 1904 Gaudí designed the
reform of a neighbour house: the known Casa Batlló (Josep Batlló Casanovas was the owner) in
Passeig de Gràcia de Barcelona.
It's famouse the façade full of ceramics
that creates a special image.
The stone balconies and windows have
also special forms.

 

Parc Güell

Eusebi Güell, protector fo Gaudí, wanted to promoted a residential garden near Barcelona. The economic repercution
of this promotion was a desaster but the design of the comon services permited
that Gaudí experimented new ideas.
The actual Parc Güell is a mixture between natural forms and architecture.
The park was built 1900 but
it was really finished 1914.

 

Casa Milà

It's the biggest neighbour house that Gaudí builded in Barcelona i Passeig the Gràcia.

It's was finished 1910. Its stone façade give
it its popular name:
la Pedrera (pedra means stone).
Its inside and outside designe
is very peculiar with its ondulations.


Sagrada Família

The Sagrada Família is one of the
most famous Gaudi's works of art.
It is in Barcelona. The construction
of this temple began in 1883 but
it isn't definitive ended, it is today
already in construction.
