1. A one-armed man is a person/man with only one arm.

2. A one-handed woman is a person/woman with only one hand.

1. There should be a lower handrail in order to protect against falls and to help children.
2. Somebody may catch his/her toes and fall while going upstairs if there are steps with protruding nosings.
3. Slippery floors are dangerous because someone may lose his/her balance and fall down.

4. It is recommended to store things not higher than 1.40m so that people with manipulatory problems can reach them easily.
