   AIMS

  • Plan, distribute and organize group work.
  • Find information about Catalonia and organize it in order to make a tourist guide together with your classmates.
  • Collaborate with your classmates in order to create a tourist guide.

  PROCEDURES

  • Choose one of the topics for the guide and look for more information.
  • Use different electronic resources to find this information.
  • Select and summarize the information found for the guide.
 
 
  

Create a tourist guide.

You have to create a tourist guide with the help of your classmates. Later on, we will use this document to create a WWW site. The WWW site will be a guide about Catalonia or Spain. You will decide. 
 
  • Instructions
  1. Think of the different sections of your travelling guide (try to answer the question: what do I want to tell about Catalonia?)
  2. Distribute the sections or topics among the members of your class.
  3. Look for more information about your topic. Use
  4. Select all the information you find interesting, copy it and paste it in your file. Save it as "uni5tas2". 
  5. Reread the information you found and organize it in 2 or 3 paragraphs.
  6. Use the same format. For instance "Time News Roman", size 12. Headings can be size 18.
  7. Use check spelling to revise the text.
  8. Scan 1 photograph if there is a scanner or copy images from the web sites you have visited. Copy and save them in your file.
